Provisioning a phone number

Navigate to Phone Numbers

From the dashboard sidebar, click Phone Numbers.

Click Add Number

Click the Add Phone Number button.

Select a number

Browse available phone numbers and select one. The cost for each number is displayed.

Assign agents

Configure the agents for this number:
  • Inbound agent - The agent that handles incoming calls to this number
  • Outbound agent - The agent used when making outbound calls from this number

Save

Click Save to provision the number. It will be active immediately.

Managing phone numbers

Updating agent assignments

You can change which agents are assigned to a phone number at any time:
  1. Click on the phone number to open its details
  2. Update the inbound or outbound agent assignment
  3. Click Save

Viewing call logs

Click on a phone number to see its recent call history, including:
  • Call direction (inbound/outbound)
  • Duration
  • Timestamp
  • Status

Deleting a phone number

Click the Delete button on a phone number to release it.
Deleting a phone number releases it permanently. You may not be able to get the same number back.
