Making a test call
You can make outbound calls directly from the dashboard to test your agent and phone number setup.Select an agent
Choose which agent should handle the call. This defaults to the outbound agent assigned to the phone number.
What happens during the call
- Sonara dials the recipient from your provisioned phone number
- When the recipient picks up, the agent starts the conversation
- If configured, the welcome message plays first
- The agent follows its instructions, uses tools, and retrieves knowledge base context as needed
- After the call ends, it appears in your Conversations section with a full transcript
