Workspaces

Every Sonara account operates within a workspace. Workspaces let you collaborate with your team - sharing agents, knowledge bases, phone numbers, and other resources.

Team roles

RolePermissions
OwnerFull access. Can manage billing, delete workspace, and manage all members. One per workspace.
AdminCan manage agents, knowledge bases, phone numbers, and invite/remove members. Cannot manage billing or delete workspace.
MemberCan view and use agents, make calls, and access analytics. Cannot manage settings or invite others.

Inviting team members

Navigate to Workspace

From the sidebar, click Workspace.

Go to Team Members tab

You’ll see a list of all current members and any pending invitations.

Click Invite Member

Click the Invite Member button (available to Owners and Admins).

Enter details

Provide:
  • Email - The person’s email address
  • Role - Member or Admin

Send invitation

Click Send. The invitee receives an email with a link to join your workspace.

Managing members

Viewing members

The Team Members tab shows:
  • Member name and email
  • Role (with color-coded badge)
  • Status (active or pending)

Pending invitations

Invitations that haven’t been accepted yet appear in the Pending Invitations section, showing:
  • Invited email
  • Assigned role
  • Expiration date

Removing members

Owners and Admins can remove members by clicking the remove button next to their name. This revokes their access to the workspace immediately.

Switching workspaces

If you’re a member of multiple workspaces, use the workspace switcher in the sidebar to switch between them. Your current workspace is highlighted.
